There was a sale on Steam recently, they sold Mafia I for 2.50 Euros, and being a longtime fan of the game, I didn't even consider not buying it. Well, so I'm really excited, download and install the game, set the settings, run the game...
It runs all fine but there is something wrong with the graphics: namely, the cigar and the stove in the menu, and bullet hit effects, blood and some other things in game look as if they were projecting rays, the cigar smoke in particular looks like a green laser shotgun. In a flame, some parts are displaced or 'stretched':
They are a bit transparentish, but should be clearly visible.
I've been searching for a while but noone else seems to have this problem. I am using this on Win7 64-bit, with Intel Core i5 and GeForce GT540M. On my old desktop with WinXP it used to work all fine.
I'd be extremely grateful if anyone could help me fix this thing so that the great game of Mafia can be enjoyed properly " data-emoticon="" srcset="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/wink@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20"> .
