Very nice, eXistenZ34, is it an easy task to over-ride the player's personal door capabilitie's and let the player open doors like NPC's so there is no silly black fade that does nothing?

I actually really wanted that from 2K Czech, instead of just a lame movement, because I saw Saboteur do it, and I thought that was a brill idea, I have no-clue why 2K Czech did not do same, it is a brill idea for when the player is idle.

I found out something really weird, you all remember how in Mafia II FR the way to enter the Mall is by trying to make a NPC open the jewlery store front door?


 




Well... I loaded into FR JA 2.0 by eXistenZ34, I simply loaded to the garage of Joe's Apartment. A woman walked by me and opened the door to the apartment behind me, I was shocked, it appears 2K Czech has put a script entirely seperate for the Player, because when the NPC opens the door to the apartment, you can walk in and out, everything works the same, only difference, there is no black fade between entering and exiting the building. I have some photo's of my experience I speak of...


 







 







 




Maybe there is a way, that we can enable Vito to open doors like NPC's and possibly eliminating the black fade entirely.

Thanks Mr. Robville we would love to see you post updates on this site. Indeed, MafiaScene.Com failed to keep the site up all year around, wich is what actually killed the modding community and pretty much took Mafia II modding and self-imploded upon itself, but thanks to Joshua for creating this site wich was just-in-time to salvage what was left of Mafia I & Mafia II mods, we did everything we can to bring people back to the game they love best.

How much space with using Injectors for the Weather and some other parts, like how much KB we talking here? Is it a serious amount of new space to the FR?

Thanks Josh, yeah that is what I got thus far, I plan to release more photo's in the coming weeks of my progress, hopefully have the job done within 1 or 2 months from now.

I agree with you both, amazing to see someone still working on something for almost 5 years, it shows true love for the build.


 




Btw, I think 2K Czech put the Titanic in Mafia II on purpose because of this mod, I honestly think it is a sort of tribute to Mr. Robville, I may be wrong, but it just seems quite funny how the Titanic is in the 50's.

Oh, sounds lovely, the injector's are best if you want to expand the script, I have an idea for your daytime's...
