Yes, we need to have three files: carname00.4ds, carname10.4ds, carname20.4ds - instead of carname, you put name of the car, e.g. taxi00.4ds, taxi10.4ds, taxi20.4ds    Then you will see changed model.

Costa's 2.1 FR is not in DLC form, you replace two files only. Seeing no trees is a bug and it doesn't seem to be planned for fixing. But it's the first time for me to hear about crashing
