In that case the door IS a separate thing. Show me from the inside with the door selected.

Press Ctrl+S and you'll be able to select it on it's own. How did you know the name of the door if you couldn't select it?

Easy. Click on it in MWE and find out what it's name is. Then open the scene2 in DC||ED and go to the 'doors' drop down section. The name of the door should be in there and just double click on it and change it to 'unlocked'.

The scene.4ds contains the base model data for the scene (roads, paths, grass verges etc). Unless you have edited the model (you won't have in MWE) then you will need the original.

You need scene.4ds from the original un-modded mission as well, these four files make up the basis for any playable mission.

With regards to the lighting problem, the reason for your trouble is that the engine is rendering all of the individual faces differently (in terms of polygonal lighting). That's the trouble with cheeseburger modding and why I model all my stuff in 3ds Max now so it's all lit evenly.
Send it over here in a week or so when I have my old computer back and I'll lightmap it for you to balance out the light into ambient tunnel glow <img src="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/smile.png" alt="" data-emoticon="" srcset="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20">
