Well I've got a Mafia 1 FRE map he did with annotations and stuff. I'm sure he used to do mods but I could never get mods to work back then so didn't get that involved in mods. I think I've uploaded his map, hope this is OK

He used to do quite a lot of stuff on the old Mafiascene.com

Well, unzipped the files into the required folders and with 6 trees in the distance it was pretty laggy  :whistle:  so I guess trips to the dam are out of the question.




Then I restored the backed up folders and all back to normal.

PS: Just a thought, I guess I should run the Xtractor again so I'm ready for the next bit of fiddling abaht?

I use Iobit Smart Defrag 2. Free, defrags in background (if computer ever idle!), or can set to shut down after a full optimization

Just come back to Mafia 1   " data-emoticon="" srcset="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20">  after rebuilding my XP computer and my lad nagging me. Simple question, what's that tunnel called?




I just like cruising about and doing stuff and one day hope to get past the assassination mission in the hotel!!

I still have these files from yonks ago backed up and I notice they are exe files, I guess I just run them & the sky mods get installed?

Looks great, am a bit worried about getting lag which I get a little of when there are lots of vehicles around... ??:

I gather from Gavel's FRE map where the 2 lots of secure parking are roughly but not sure if I have got them right. Also cars parked there (if I've got the correct locations) disappear if I go back there after going out into the countryside? Are these the only safe places in FR?
