I've always adored your cheeseburger approach, right from my teens. The atmosphere is wonderful, and I can't wait for dive into the world of Capoletti once again!

Mod Help / Re: Change distance at which pedestrians/cars spawn and poly up

I remember you being a bit abrasive some years ago, but I thought I'd give it a chance on a new site. If you'd rather be childish and passive-aggressive, I'm okay with that. With an instant messenger, I was thinking more that quicker response time is helpful when going back-and-forth to troubleshoot. On top of that, Quarkblitz is the only online alias I know that ASM currently has, and I've been speaking with him in some form or another for more than 15 years. If you'd rather I didn't help (I'm sure someone else can), physician heal thyself

Do you have any chat/messenger apps? It would probably easier to do this via that kind of thing.

Mod Help / Re: DC||ED stopped working any Ideas?

Have you tried the usual admin/compatibility options? I don't even have space for another stupid Win11 update on my laptop (I've stayed with Win10 on my PC), but I'll try DCED on there and see if I can replicate the problem.
EDIT: Which 'version' of DCED do you use - the one that installs or the standalone EXE?

Mod Help / Re: Change distance at which an occluder disappears

That's unfortunate. Do you use 3DS Max or Blender? There (very recently) have been tools developed/posted that either do/will have some form of occluder functionality (though they're both a bit limited with exporting and also slightly buggy, at least currently).

Hi there, AsaSK did say Boz Scene Tree Editor could do it, but he was referring to this part of the data:

The "Occluders Placement" section of Boz's vid below (07:51) should help you with setting up custom occluders.

Boz Scene Tree Editor should be able to help you out, you can alter occluder values with that.

I haven't been in contact with him there for a couple of years, but from what I know he's still on Discord as 'QuarkBlitz'.

Hey Hunter, good to see you again. Was ASM the modder you were thinking of? He's to thank for a large amount of modding development in the last 15+ years.

From what I understand(?), the broken threads could be a mixture of expired image hosting links and phpBB migration rendering some text formatting incompatible.
From what I remember (I was a member of MS.com from 2007 until the end), it became progressively quieter until the 2009-2010 Mafia II bump, then would go offline several times over the next 8 years thanks to the server host. In 2010, MS.net was started in to fill the void. Riddian/Deusiah was largely away with IRL stuff and the site, despite returning in 2013, went down again towards the end of the 2010s. As Joshua explained via MS.net's Facebook, MS.com's backups have been lost for good, and that's likely the end of that site.
All that being the case, it's bizarre that MS.com and MS.net was considered a rivalry back in the day!

Good to see you again. As I am now semi retired I now have more time on my hands and I am getting back into modding myself
I always look forward to seeing your content, it is an inspiration to me
One of your first videos inspired me to do my own, It was an an introduction of Mafiosa I think, the one where the guy drops the baseball bat, that was so classic
So I may join you in posting updates on the Old Capoletti Mod now that I have it out of moth balls. If I can keep on task and not blow up
Look forward to seeing your work
Matteo(AKA Craig, as you are wont to point out)
I do remember, when I wasn't busy doxxing you with your first name, that we had quite the symbiotic relationship when it came to creative inspiration. Your Frisco/Little Italy sections were-a just-a mwuah.
Anyway, I'm surprised to see you again, but as with Muggy it's a pleasant surprise - bentornato, caro amico.
Mod scraps: 10 hours' work for one custom animation that isn't even completely finished. Sigh.

Welcome back! I think I remember you just being 'lassiter' before? Nostalgia overload from this site, at the moment
