Mafia General Discussion / Favourite Mission
January 03, 2012, 12:04:50 PM
Yeah, you really want to get Salvatore to teach you how to steal it.

I just finished this mission and, unlike in the video Cole Phelps linked, there wasn't a single shot fired.

I just waited for the prosecutor to go inside the house and into one of the rooms upstairs.

Sneaked out the front-door. (I turned the upstairs light off)

Knocked out a guard, standing with his back to the car.

Had Salvatore unlock the car.

Drove off into the night, the guards didn't even shoot at the car. (Maybe they were walking the other way?)

Back on topic, my favourite mission ...

...

I don't know ...

Fleeing too Salieri's bar through the allies, with all those people, doing there daily stuff.

The motel, racing, the brothel, the church shout-out, the farm, the airport (omerta), lucky bastard, both the harbour missions, just driving through the city, helping Lucas, the Freeride extreme missions, the sound the floor in the museum makes ...

I'll go back to playing.

Hello, me is me and I felt like posting here.

I won't become a regular, just now I'm playing the game again.

Mafia, the city of Lost Heaven

I have played this game so many times now ... most games I don't even finish.

Years and years ago I received a copy of this game form a friend. It was the best looking game I had ever seen. And the world, people and cars in the streets, obeying the trafic laws. Driving the cars was difficult but so, soo satisfying. And the story, I must have talked my mothers ears off about it. Best game ever!

Since Skyrim forced me to jump-start my steam-account, I was looking through their store and MAFIA!

So I started my X'ed play-through and ended up here to check-out the mods.

I just finished Bon App̮̩tit! and for some reason the game feels so much easier to me now. I know all the routes of the npc's and almost everything was finished in one try. (race with difficulty choice -> normal should be like the original?) Maybe it's just the better pc and me having more practice in gaming, or is the steam-version just easier?

Oh, and it still looks amazing, high-res in combination with the ENB lightning mod, forced anti-aliasing etc.

Just the Tree-project is to heavy with these settings

Anyway, thanks you all, for keeping this community alive and all the amazing mods.
