Thanks a lot everyone for the kind comments!

Last few days I have been correcting issues to the exterior model. Like small glitches and such.

So now I have to export the whole exterior again

But the result will be far worth it! the models will be more optimized now, and will make it possible for Djboskosz to bake lightmaps onto it.

Also soon you all will be receiving some first glimpses of all A deck interior rooms placed ingame.

I googled around to find some titanic's photos, and i must admit, I'm just amazed.

I started to find the word "mod" reductive

It's clearly a passion-driven work, the fidelity with historical photos is stunning, hats off   <img src="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/wink.png" alt="" data-emoticon="" srcset="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/wink@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20">

Thank you very much!

Today I have something real importand yet great to announce!

First, let the images speak for themselves:

I'll just say, Djbozkosz, thank you!

Finally with also great thanks to Kyle Hudak for modelling the room I am pleased to announce that after 6 years of development, the first room finally got finished ingame! It's a milestone.

To have a better Idea of what I'm talking about, without Djbozkosz's help, this very room would look like this:

Also another comparison:

It has been a few days since my last update here, I wish everyone a happy new year!

I have some interesting news item from the graphics department to start a good year  <img src="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/smile.png" alt="" data-emoticon="" srcset="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20">

First, take a look at this:

Some people might have heard of the ENB series before. If not, what this does is that it enhances Mafia's LS3D engine graphic wise and adding features such as bloom effects, motion blur, ambient occlusion etc.

These comparison shots are taken with default ENB applied to it. It might need some tweaking later on by someone with more experience.

Altough you might think this looks too blurry, for some reason this really is an atmosphere enhancer!

As you can see, ENB has a slight impact on the FPS rate. But don't you worry, with a simple Shift+F12 press on your keyboard you can enable or disable it. So if you don't like it and hate bloom or motion blur effects, don't touch it. By default ENB is disabled.

Some of you might worry about the FPS rate with no ENB at all on the outside ship which is 24 FPS at some points. Luckely there's nothing to fear. These screenshots ware taken with 4X anti aliasing which is a bomb on FPS (with 2X AA, the average lies within 30-40 FPS)

But also when the mod is completed, a low resolution texture pack will be available as the option to remove the sun's enhanced sun rays which also take some FPS when looked at.

Also the ocean's model will be replaced later on which will have less polygons.

Good thing about the sector usage is as you can see, the smoking room has a FPS of 47 while this is located in the same scene as the exterior. So each interior sector has it's own independent FPS rate.

Also for FPS increasing, a free copy of gamebooster will be delivered with downloading MTM.

But also Djbozkosz has some new progress made:

It's still WIP, certain adjustments are still needed and yes, there is smoke coming from Funnel 4, which is not supposed to. But look at the result!
