First thing you need to do is to decide whether you want the farm area as it appears in Freeride or as it appears in A Trip to the Country. If you want the former, you really just have to remove the invisible wall and then add collisions to whatever is lacking such. I don't know if the barns and the ground there have collisions in Freeride - but if they don't, you'll have to add such unless you want to fall right through the ground. All this can be done in Mafia World Mission Editor.

If you want to use the farm area as it appears in A Trip to the Country, you're in for a much more difficult task. First thing you want to do is to go into your MISSIONS folder, copy whichever folder pertains to the farm sequence in A Trip to the Country and paste it into Downloaded Files. Here, you'll change the name of it (FARMMISSION, for instance) and paste the folder with the altered name back into MISSIONS. This way you won't lose your original A Trip to the Country version.

Next, go into Mafia World Editor and load FARMMISSION. You'll have to delete (target them CTRL+3 and hit DEL) all the scripts (look like red little boxes) as well as all persons. You'll also need to delete the large night sky with lightning texture. After you've done this, save (multiple times) and exit Editor and open up BSV 4 (make sure you use 4, 6 tends to crash a lot).

In BSV, target the script that says GameInitStart and delete the part that says game_nightmission 1 and hit save underneath the script box. This will make it daytime at the farm. Finally, load FREEKRAJINA in BSV and hit Create > other. Name the script Load Mission or whatever, just make sure you remember it. Don't worry about its placement yet, just go with the default ones. Hit save and replace the "/////" in the script box with

dim_act 5

dim_flt 5

dim_frm 5

findactor 0,"Tommy"

detector_waitforuse

wait 2000

change_mission "FARMMISSION","Startingpoint",1

Now go into Editor and load FREEKRAJINA. Open your Tools Window and find Load Mission (at the bottom) and jump to it. Target it and then go to the farm entrance, hit CTRL+M (it's now warped to your position) and place the script on the bridge. Now save (multiple times) and go into FARMMISSION in Editor. Right by the entrance, hit Create Model and name it Startingpoint and put the model to Nothing.i3d. Locate this model (it'll be a blue box) and place it wherever you want Tommy to start when you load your Farm Mission from Freeride Country.

I don't know if the lights will be completely screwed up in your daytime farm, but at least this will create an enterable daytime farm from Freeride Country.

But I can add thunder to it thanks to Darren - he made a mod which adds that feature in Mafia 1.

One more thing - is it enough for MWME to extract maps, models and missions ? Or should I extract some more folders ?

When I choose 'Load mission' and select FREEKRAJINA, I see this:

But when I load FREEKRAJINA NOC, I see this:

Am I doing sth wrong ?  <img src="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/wink.png" alt="" data-emoticon="" srcset="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/wink@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20">

The reason why you cant see anything is that mission isnt set to center (X,Y,Z=0).

Solution: In menu Tools click on Tool Window and select some object inside of it. Then just hit button "Jump to".

But what's the name of the farm on that list ?

#14 July 13, 2012, 06:13:33 AM Last Edit: January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM by Guest
Farm is not one object.Almost everything in that list is part of that area.Like houses, boxes etc..
