Was wondering what Mafia 1 would be like with Mafia 2 graphics...
something like GTA San Vice. If anyone could do that, that would be sheer genius.
That would be awesome but I don't think that would be possible as you would probably have to change every single texture one by one?

I'm not sure if someone is planning to make it - but yes, it would be good to see Mafia 1 with better graphics.
Maybe someone will make Mafia 1 in HD. The only thing we can do is waiting and searching for news.
I agree, it would be mental, but sadly there is no filter yet from Zmodeler3, but the creator has planned to do a Mafia II filter in Zmodeler3, and if he does, then we can REALLY expand on modding Mafia II.

Hey, that's where I DL'd mine textures! They used to be on the old Mafiascene though. It's pretty nice, but resource heavy. I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but I think Mafia doesn't exactly use occlusion culling too much, so all the nice effects take more operations than you need to see.
It doesn't exactly make Mafia 1 look as if it was just developed, but still, nice. With ENBseries and Mafia Trees Project (both included in links in the video's comments), UDD and the water shader it will make your computer heat up to the temperature of a small star, but if your computer can survive that, it gives Mafia a lot more life.
